Hailing from Mexico City, “where taquerias are as commonplace as 7-Eleven stores in Bangkok,” Daniel Calderón Camacho is the Head Chef of Bangkok’s first Mexican entertainment dining and drinking concept, El Santo.

Daniel Calderón Camacho heads Bangkok’s first Mexican entertainment dining concept, El Santo. Despite it being his first move outside Mexico, Daniel’s culinary career has flourished in various venues across his hometown. He was drawn to Thailand by an offer from Soho Hospitality, eager to immerse himself in Thai cuisine. With roots in his parents’ restaurant, Daniel’s passion for cooking blossomed from a young age. Rising from a pot washer to head chef, he brings unapologetically bold Mexican flavors to Bangkok’s dining scene at El Santo. Their authentic menu, highlighted by dishes like Tacos al pastor, promises a unique dining experience.
